I understand that losing weight and getting stronger can be challenging, and my objective is to equip you with the information and inspiration to help you adopt sustainable lifestyle changes that will lead to greater health and well-being. I will listen to you, collaborate with you and conduct the proper assessments to create your individualized fitness plan. This will be done with true attention to you as an individual, taking into account your body type, lifestyle, and habits. We will address healthier food choices and the most suitable movement practices, to ensure the best possible outcome for you. Along the way, my goal will be to keep you on track and motivated.
The truth is that adopting healthier habits is not easy and often our commitment and resolve can come and go. Change is hard, and becoming healthier requires an intentional change in mindset and lifestyle. My goal is to help you see the amazingly positive effects healthier choices can have on how you can face life and its challenges. I strongly believe that, while we may not have much control over the length of our lives, we have the power to improve the quality of our lives by staying active, eating well, and making other healthy choices.
My first career was in the analytical world of software development. After I left the corporate world to become a stay-at-home mom, I participated in group exercise classes at my local gym, with the goal of staying fit enough to keep up with my children. Through this journey, I discovered a love for fitness that I long to share with others.
I am a ACE/NASM Certified Personal Trainer with a specialization in Corrective Exercise; a Yoga Alliance 200 Hour Registered Yoga Teacher; and a Group Fitness Instructor, experienced in multiple formats including Pilates, Weightlifting, Cardiovascular Conditioning, Zumba, Kickboxing, Barre, Senior Fitness and Aqua Aerobics.
